I told myself that the last post would be the final post of this blog but I feel compelled to write this next one.
It's time to leave. Yet again. I spent the 4 years of college waiting for this time when I could finally get the hell out of here but now its round the corner I realize it's not going to be that easy. There's naught here I'd particularly miss. And there's a whole wide world out there I'm eager to embrace but every one of us takes comfort in the familiarity of things around us and now the time has come for it to go. Or rather for us to leave. Leaving is what I've grown used to doing and leaving is what I'm going to be doing many more times than I have. This is probably the easiest leaving but also the end of the most stability I've had in a long time. The future is the haziest it has ever been with a lot of work to be done. In a sense these 4 years were a hiatus from real academics where I learnt more about real life and found out about myself than I did the subjects. Its time to oil the cogs and get ready for the biggest challenge yet. To find out what we're worth. It's the end of the beginning.
